Looking for info on broken Kickstands

I have been hearing talk of broken kickstands....

Where do they break? Do they show any signs that they are about to go..... or do they just snap off one day, and leave you looking down at your scooter as the front wheel spins slowly?

Early on there were some reports of the little arm breaking off. I haven't heard of that in some time. My take on the recent breakages is that they resulted from drops or accidents. Someone with a current problem - Please come forward.

That's funny.. but I think the problem exists with the little lever you use to flip it down. Some were incorporated into the casting and others were welded on and that was where the problem lay. I think Phil had to replace his because of it.
