Be sure to mark your factory starting point. I decided to play around a little with mine and moved it on the spline - even just a slight change made the bike shift horribly so I put it back to the factory setting which took a few tries. Moving on the spline made for some very odd lever travel, kind of hard to explain but just felt wrong to my foot.
