Why basically be like every other crusier manufacturer out there(except You-Know-Who's Vertical-Twin) pumping out V-Twins, when you'd have a readily available "heritage" in the 4-cylinder market with an Indian-4???
Dwight,
You already know the answer to this - They have to give the average buyer what they think they want- A big ole honkin V-twin - What could be more American? I think the average buyer today knows very little about history or heritage, they have drowning in 'image' and propoganda for so long.
I would like to see nothing but for them to succeed this time. Competition is good for everybody.
