You are exactly correct on that one. It appears they took the cost to produce it and stuck with that number. Looks like good stuff but not worth that much for those of us on a more limited budget.
In Florida now working on the tornadoes. Note to self: When you get home track down a machine shop and get this stuff built.
There is a machine shop next to the Harley place that makes stuff for the old bikes. If he can make parts, would seem to me he can make a few pulleys.
I am probably wrong but promise to seek out a 2nd opinion.
This is the only real obvious cheap way to go for Triumph. I know personally many folks that went to other bikes for shaft or belt once they saw the chain drive.
