hey pete i have a 02 BA I PUT A TACH IN IT and the instructions said you had to run the wire in to the headlamp assembly but i had to wire it up in my dash if you look their is one open whole in one side of the connector i just stuck the wire in that whole and it worked i talked to my triumph dealer he told me that i hope i helped you
