And BTW Jack, off-hand I'd say that the reason our brit friends seem to complain less about the lack of "real" power in our bikes is because the whole island over there is about the size of California. If one would attempt to ride the "Superslabs" of America, say from CA to NY, on a BA or Speedy, I think a "little more" power would be quite welcomed by most of us Yanks who could find themselves out in the middle of nowhere on Interstate 40 attempting to stay well ahead of those semi-trucks that roam those superslabs at 80+ MPH, hours on end.
There seem to be some members that have made some fairly long treks on TBA's and Speedies, And why the heck do you want to ride slab anyway?Ok granted I am a new owner and perhaps just perhaps. If i make my long dreamt of trans continental journey this summer my attitude may change. But from my experience with the bike so far, I feel no lack of power.
And SalMag Ct aint exactly flat. And the roads are far from straight. Some pretty steep grades lot of up and down. So far she's handled em well either solo or carrying my 130 lb better half.
The percentage you're paying is too high-priced
While you're living beyond all your means
And the man in the suit has just bought a new car
From the profit he's made on your dreams
