I would assume that whatever price showed up on your checkout and confirmation would be the price. Apparently, they created enough buzz at 50% to bring in quite a few new customers. I'm sorry I missed out. BUT, now that Coweta has gone back to 15%, 20% is about the best deal around on Triumph parts.

True, but even at 15-20% off I wouldn't have purchased a chrome lower yoke cover or the chrome levers. And I would've bought a front master cylinder cover from Brett instead of the Triumph one (now I'll probably buy one of Eddy's British Flag stickers for it). 50% off was just too good to resist. Sorry some of you missed it.

I was putting together an order for chrome levers, end caps, etc. I don't plan to buy them now at 20%. By the way, I like my Fast Eddy's sticker on the brake reservoir cover - my least expensive add-on to date. I still need a better pillion, I guess it will be at 20% instead of 50%.

Hi guys, i emailed these people to try to find out what was going on this was there responce, and I quote Quote:
Good evening! Many of you have taken advantage of our 50% off sale and WOW! things did move quickly. We COMPLETELY SOLD OUT of all of the items we had in stock. Because we got such a HUGE rush of orders and interest from the general public, we are going to extend to all of you a discount of 20% on all items on our website thru Monday 2/5/07 at 4pm. Please allow (2) weeks time for delivery as we have to order these items as orders are placed. If you placed an order when we had everything marked down 50% we will honor that price and will ship you your item(s), GUARANTEED! We certainly did not expect such a HUGE turnout and thank you for your business.

Well they got $215.00 from me. Ordered the Rochester Mesh Jacket, Chrome Sprocket cover, Chrome Battery Box cover and Chrome Axle Nut covers.
We'll see what I get and how long it takes...
If they sold out of everything then I guess that shows the power of the internet and this Forum in particular.

I printed out my invoice because I was surprised at the price. They been around a while so I felt pretty safe. We'll see if I get my stuff. Things that are too good to be true usually are.

I am curious. Has anyone received a confirmation e-mail about the order being shipped?
Placed my order on 02-02-2007 they have not even billed my credit card at all?
Just curious.

I got a confirmation that the order was placed, but no shipping info. I emailed them on 2/5 but have not heard anything from them Soon I will have to take some other actions to see what I can find out, but would really rather not go that route. Seems pretty poor customer service they do not have this info listed on the site. Yeah, it was a great price but I still wanna know when it will be shipped or if it is back ordered or ????

Talked with them yesterday. They said they had been overwhelmed with orders and were having to order stock (if available) from Triumph. My order confirmation has not been updated either, or my e mails answered. They said it would be 2-3 weeks before the orders could be filled! If they are trying to get new customers a little communication would be nice.

I got a similar e-mail from the local triumph dealer. 50% off thru monday. Monday morning I drove by the address the gave (I knew they had moved) and it is still under construction. I heard they are in Port Jeff somewhere, but the address IN THE e-MAIL was wrong! Think I might reply and tell em they lost my business...

Ramp just charged my credit card. I just bought my tba from them in December. If I haven't heard anything from them in the next day or two I'll call the dealer see whats up. Benny their new location is in St James, I can get the address for you. The dealership also sold Hummers, it was amid life crises dreamstore hummers, triumphs, indians and custom choppers... any way, maybe since I'm a trusting guy I know it will work out. Like I said If I haven't heard anything by friday I'll call them on saturday. I'm curious how much we spent at their store? capn

quick math and I came to around $3,700 of on sale merchandise purchased by BA members. I guessed the price for folks that said the items they were going to buy. And there were probably 4 or 5 that didn't say what or how much they spent. I don't think they are going to screw us over, but at the same time it is interesting to see how much we spent at their site...

When I was ordering one of the check boxes was a statement that read: Would you like an e-mail from Yahoo rating this vendor. I checked yes, I have yet to receive that e-mail.
I wonder if we could put together one e-mail from everyone who ordered that night from our site, I bet that would get their attention, right now they have no idea what power this site could generate in negitive press if they do not come through.

Why start throwing weight around when no one knows if there is even a problem? You gotta figure they were swamped with orders and they did state they will HONOR all 50% orders placed and then offered 20% discount for subsequent orders. They are at least saying the right things. In addition, I believe much of the country in that area had Snow Storm issues at least one day. And they probably aren't staffed like AMAZON.com or similiar. I got a link to Yahoo to check the status of my order. I plan on giving them a week then KINDLY checking with them, either email or phone. Since they have a physical store, I really will be surprised if there are issues. Plus, I have ordered from them in the past with success. If they can't honor my order then that is just bad customer service, if my money is taken with no value given in return...then i'll get upset. I personally would rather know I have an issue before I start disturbing the feathers.

Capn, I am familiar with the Hummer/Indian/Triumph thing in St James, but that recently got renovated to JUST Hummers, and I heard from a local they moved to Port Jeff. Well the new address is Port JEff alright, but all that was in the parking lot was a dumpster! Must be an interum location?

Benny, hmm thats interesting. When I got the bike they were starting remodling the dealership in St james. While bsing with Patrick, the bike dealer, he told me that they were not allowed to sell bikes in the Port Jeff site (something to do with town ordinances). anyway, I saw another ramp dealership on the way from St james to the port jeff ferry. I wasn't paying too much attention to where it was. I was busy enjoying my new ride... I agree with dm lets not start a which hunt just yet. I had a good experience with them when I bought my bike. My only complaint is they have 7 different names for their corporation, and when I got a certified check they want the check to be in a different namme... long story short, they worked it out, I rode away a happy customer. Again I think this was a great deal, we reacted faster than they expected and it will take a period of time to locate all the merchandise.

Seems like everyone else all I have gotten so far is an "Order received" e-mail, Lists what i odered and how much.
I wont get too Ichy for a few more days, then I'll send an e-mail. (and try to be nice).
It would not surprize me if they look at this and rat net forum form time to time. Any buzzing like this going on over there?

I think you guys just swamped them with all the orders between here, ratnet, and wherever else it may have been posted. Its only been 2 business days since the end of the "sale". I say give them some time to catch up. You guys got some awesome deals and I just wish I had acted quicker!

OK, I got a response finally. I won't post my last email to them, was not a "friendly" email, but stayed civil. In any case IMHO there is no excuse for an online shop to not have the status of an order available.
Dear Mr. Kemp. My name is Frank Montero. I am the Business Manager for Motorcyclegearshops.com, the retailer you placed your order with. I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you but we have been replying to all e-mails as they arrive to ensure everyone is replied to. Many of you have took advantage of our 50% off sale and WOW! things did move quickly. We COMPLETELY SOLD OUT of all of the items we had in stock.

If you placed an order when we had everything marked down 50% we will honor that price and will ship you your item(s), GUARANTEED!
We certainly did not expect such a HUGE turnout and thank you for your business. Please do not misinterpret our efforts as that of a company who takes advantage of its customers. We are looking to build a lasting relationship. We have been in the automotive retail business for 65 years and seceded by taking care of each customer, one at a time. A tracking number will be e-mailed to you when it is available. Please allow 2 weeks for delivery.

I checked my credit card on-line, and 1 of the 4 things that I ordered was billed to the card. The billing was from "Indian Motorcycle LC, Port Jefferson, NY". Are they now a Indian dealer?
