I think it's time to give the folks in charge of the boston police department a brain scan....just to see if there's one present....I notice that nobody is complaining about a sign giving the finger....now if they'd reacted to that, I could understand.

I grew up right outside of Boston and for those who do not realize it Boston is pretty small when compared to other US cities i.e. there is no place to run and the panic that would have been set off by one of those things going off would have been a nightmare.
I'm surprizingly not that upset over the stunt, but really fries my a** is the attidude of those two jerks afterward on their news conference, if anybody deserves a public beating it is those two a**holes.
My older son goes to school in downtown Boston and broke his foot the other night and had spend the night in the hospital after a two and 1/2 ride my wife and I had to turn around and go home as Boston was shutdown and we could not get to the hospital.
I would love to the have the opportunity to throw the first punch.
One p***** off dad.
I hear ya, Poppy.
A colleague of mine was frantic early in the day before this all came clear..... Lives and works in Boston( I'm 25 miles south)--3 children ( 9, 12, and 16), all in different schools around the city. Her oldest takes the SUBWAY to and from school.
Nothing funny about the many mothers (and fathers) who AGED 15 YEARS worrying about how/whether to gather up their "little chicks".

That's okay Paula. Most people have their children much too young ANYWAY!(years before they've stop being "wet-behind-the-ears" THEMSELVES...let alone picking the person they'll STAY married to in todays world...what's that now, 50 percent of children grow up in "broken homes" today) So "ageing 15 years" MIGHT just do 'em some freakin' GOOD! Cheers, Dwight (man...I'm quite the "sociologist" today...ain't I)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Well, I'm curious(to say the least) to see what the Feds,
and Boston, or Mass, does to Turner Broadcasting. I think
that they should be made an example of. If for nothing else
than the offensive nature of this "AD Campaign". I bet this
gets less of a fuss made about it than the "Wardrobe
Malfunction" at the Super Bowl did. I just pray that Prince
will be wearing a sturdy belt on Sunday.
I applaud the efforts of all the Public Service Personel who
did their jobs. They're just trying to keep the rest of us
safe. How did they know what they were up against??? This
could have been some sort of elaborate diversion!
Again, I think Turner should be taken to task for this
moronic stunt. And the two saps should be put in stocks, on
the Commons, so that the townspeople can pelt them with
eggs,and tomatoes.

Prince is going to be in the half time show? Another reason for me not to watch it.
(sorry for the off topic)
