I just got an email from Triumph advertising their national open house. Anybody else?
I had to laugh - they should fire their proofreaders - Top of the page it says "Send to a Freind"
Can't get the last two Torque mags, But I got their spam!

If you signed up for Torque, I'd bet it's why you got the email. I wouldn't qualify it as spam in that respect. btw, I got it too. I am going to try to use it as leverage to get Janet a new helmet!

Unless you have a chance to opt out, it's spam. Even if you're a member.

shows how stupid norton is!! Whacking Triumph email? Why, the very idea!!
If I am not mistaken, there was a checkbox when signing up for RAT that said something like 'I want to receive emails from Triumph' that could have been unchecked.
I figure someone will either confirm or refute this.

OMG!! You people complain when Triumph doesn't do enough to get the brand out there and then you complain when you receive ONE email from them???? I don't belong to RAT so I guess I won't have to worry about being spammed. Sheesh!

I haven't gotten anything yet. I just logged into the Triumph website and checked my RAT membership. Everything checks out. They have my new address. I feel kinda left out. I don't even get spam. Hey, I just thought of something. We should drop out of RAT and start our own newsletter. We could call it RAT Droppings. Hahahahahaha

I seem to recall similar sentiments being expressed here about Torque.

Right again Phil. The notification checkbox is on the RAT sign-up page. I can't remember if it defaults to "yes"??

Seems like a lot of whinning due primarilly to individual human error and perhaps some mid-winter arse chaffing. Don't fret folks, it all goes away in the spring...

Yup
It will be worse next month. Feb usually the top of bell whining curve. After that the sun starts melting the frozen stuff. And before you know it we are on the road again.

Ok, maybe my original post is coming off wrong. I am aware that I signed up for their advertising, but only as a byproduct of signing up for RAT and Torque ( which I have NOT received the last 2 issues of).
And my second point was - they need a proofreader.
And you normally won't hear me bash Triumph(I own 2 of their fine products), RAT or Torque (cause you get what you pay for), but this time I just found a little humor in it.
That's all.

It appears to be just North America, The participating dealers list is all Canada and USA locations.
