Also, the Pingel petcock that I got from Brent must have been a 6000 series, that has the on/reserve/off aligned for the fuel outlet pointing inward, like the original Triumph valve. But to install an in-line filter like the K&N, the petcock outlet would be better facing aft, like the 4000 series petcocks.
In my picture above, my 6000 series petcock was rotated 90 degrees to face aft, but the off position is now rotated to be inboard, the reserve position is now forward, and on on position is outboard. This is a little awkward, but okay. The 4000 series would have been better.
