I was too drunk! However, I do remember that I still have my stock shocks!! I really don't want to lower the bike though. I believe it will throw off the handling a bit Keep your fingers crossed that the risers/spacers and a new saddle will suffice.

True, true...you could always throw them on after Janet rides a few hundred miles and see how she likes them after she's used to the stock height.

Guess you can always get lowered fork springs then as well...but she'll probably be scraping her footpegs in those intense FL twisties. Many people complain about scraping with stock shocks and go for the rear sets as a fix.

Hey Janet,
Way to go!!! I am so proud for you. Keep piling up the miles. We'll be missing Georgia this year (our youngest daughter graduating from Texas Bible Institute that weekend). Raynea wants to ride to the Conch Rebublic this summer - so we can see you and Phil then (and hopefully a few others).

Nice lookin' new addition to the family there Phil. Congrats!

Now...seeing as how you and Janet are Floridians and all, I HOPE you realize that any standard Bonnie "must" have Gators...er, I mean GAITERS covering those forks up front there.(it just "looks proper", ya know)

Cheers,
Dwight

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

We are heading up to Daytona Friday afternoon to visit Corbin and get her a new seat.

Well then, a stop in Satellite Beach should be in order for the trip back home. Might have to have a drink or 3.

Hey Phil, does that there new Bonnie still have Lucas in it?

Well, that finally disproves the theory about her lack of taste, if she married you, AND bought that, then one or the other must have been a mistake in judgement...

Congrats though Bro, and Janet!!!

Was it the 'custom' turn signals on the Honda that did it?

It was heading up SR27 and not being able to pass a 20 yr old truck camper that did it. That turn signal job was just sad, not up to Phil's usual standard. Maybe cause it was a HONDA?

Sounds like a plan ~ We're gonna do a quick run up late Friday afternoon and should be done at Corbin by 5. We could certainly hookup for a cocktail or 3. Tell Graham I'll bring the Champaign to celebrate my new baby!

Two minor suggestions from the male side of the aisle to do with as you see fit. When the image of Phil starts to get real little in your mirror, slow down a bit .

And after you tweak, freak, rejet, etc., ask a question like "Is this where the gas goes?"

I think Brent has Phil's CC# on speed dial, happy shopping. The T-100 is a great bike, passing ole pickup trucks shouldn't present a problem .

Oh, ride safe!!

Got an update. Bike's been broken in for awhile now but Daytona got in the way of the other planned mods. NOW, he's got Predator pipes, K&N drop-in, a Dynojet kit (springs, needles, main jets), Brent's air screws, and the Corbin (oh yeah, some shiny bits too!). Got the last bits in today and went for a shakedown ride. HOLY CRAP! This bike will friggin move!!!

NOW we are ready for the dyno and I will call them tomorrow. Stay tuned for numbers.

Nice ride Janet, enjoy and welcome.
