I've started to look for ways to custom my trumpet and I like the ape hangers where do I get the new cables made? I have a few other wants and wishes but one thing at a time.

A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice. Pat

I'm from Kalispell, but I have been traveling for my work. I am in Virginia for another month ,then who knows.

Well, let us know when you make it back to Montana, in the warmer months that is, and we'll go riding. I think Freedom and Roadie are closer to Kalispell than I am (Thompson Falls and Bonners Ferry, ID, respectively). Also consider the Kootenay RAT Raid in Nelson, BC in mid-July. It's a good time and practically spitting distance from NW Montana.

Freedom and I went through Salmon last year on the way home from the Idaho Invasion. Pretty country, although there was a forest fire near Challis so the area was pretty smoky.

I have an '02 TBA and it seems like I've changed just about everything. Well, I haven't gone inside the engine yet. The short list - I have a couple pictures in photopost:

relocated battery under seat with custom bracket
K&N filters with rejetting
AI removed
custom paint
'83 harley hard bags with custom bracketry based on Easybrackets
belt drive conversion
Kuryakyn ellipse mirrors
Progressive 412HD shocks
Corbin seat with backrest
Triumph tach kit
Triumph floorboards
Triumph driving light kit with custom lightbar
Standard bonnie sprocket cover
Triumph pillion rack
Triumph tall backrest with luggage rack
Triumph engine crash bars
Triumph short off-road mufflers
Shortened rear turn signal stems
Stem nut clock
Chrome cam cover
Signal Dynamics back-off module and LED license plate frame
Newspeedmaster carb hardware kit
Newspeedmaster carb brace
Newspeedmaster horn
Newspeedmaster speedo cable retainer
Newspeedmaster (I think, or Bellacorse) oil filler cap
Jim's spacers (worth their weight in gold)
might as well mention the throttle rocker

...and countless bits of tools and gear and such. I totaled it all up once and got immediately depressed. I'd rather just enjoy the bike. All that and I have more changes in store soon.

I'll try to find your pics, still trying to navigate this site. Bike sounds beautiful. Mine is a 06 BA I have triumph short off road pipes. Am in process of a faux hard tail. And want to have ape hangers ASAP. And researching a Dakota speed-o. My son is 16 and dreaming of his own bonnie.

Greetings,

I installed standard buckhorn bars and ordered a set of +6" over stock braided Barnett clutch, brake cables through Mike at Bellacorse(MI). Obviously the length needed will depend on how much you go "ape". People on this board are always helpfull when somebody indicates they want to part with some funds .

We manage to have some fun around here (MT, ID, BC). Heck it's almost riding weather now, although there might be a hiccup or two before April. Salmon's good country .
