when approaching the brow (top) of a hill, especially a blind summit, always keep into the side of the road, in UK left,in America right. This road position may help if a fool approaches from the other direction and tries to overtake traffic by taking up your side of the road.
Don't get into this position too early as you want to maximize your chances of being seen. Domination of the road position is the key!
