I bought my TBA in Feb of '03, and it's titled, and reg'd as 03. After seeing a thread here, I looked at the sticker on the frame. It says manufactured 11/02. Is it a "pre-fire"?
Just wondering, Uncle Charlie

I did a search and answered my own question. The fire was in March, 2002. So I guess that makes mine "post-fire".

D.O.M.-Sept, 2001. After the dark day that befell us here during that time, I've always considered my BA somewhat of an homage offered in friendship and mutual respect to us Yanks by our "british cousins". Now I know it's kind of "quaint" to look at it this way, but Mr.Bloor DID name it the Bonneville AMERICA, didn't he?!
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Bought mine in Jan 02 so it was made in 01, at the time of the fire I was told that there was only 40 in Sweden and three of those were in Ramsele and for a small village(population 1000) in the north of Sweden that was quite unique

Bought mine Jan 03, but date of manufacture was Feb 02. So I guess just before the fire.

I don't know Charlie, According to the VIN number mine was built pre-fire, but being one of the rare, coveted red ones, it may have CAUSED the fire . JH

I have one question that maybe someone that has taken the factory tour might be able to answer. At what point during assembly do they put those stickers on the frame?
The reason I ask is because when I bought my bike I had a little trouble finding a red one because of the fire. I was told that all bikes that where there and survived the fire would be '03 models. Meaning he could have a pre fire bike (but probably no real way of knowing for sure)
