I am torn. I want to see the Colts win a championship but at the same time I find da bears to be a sentimental favorite.
I got relatives in Indianapolis who really want a Colts win. I like Peyton ...I think he is an outstanding QB who just needs to win the big one to get that monkey off his back.
Rex Grossman is still the young unproven whippersnapper who is from Indiana.

Check the colts for me. Manning needs the superbowl ring. Then he can finally win the big games without choking. Seriously The colts should plow through everyone, but they always loose the clutch game....Grrr
Go Vols- Er go Manning- Er Go Colts. Thats what I ment to say... BTW- Only 1 mile from "Peyton Manning Pass"- A road here in Knoxvegas....

ok, peyton needs to start the game throwing quick routes to the corners and backs. this opens the running game. then he can throw the long balls. i get really tired of starting the game in the second half. the talent is there. the colts should win if they come to play. 23yrs a fan.

I'm torn. I'm pretty sure the Colts can outrun the Bears, but once a bear gets ahold of a colt it's all over but the cryin'. Wait, you're talking about that Discovery Channel special, right?

The Bears are like the Cubbies, you have to root for them, they are the perennial losers who finally deserve a chance in the sun. Hopefully they don't have the same luck as the Cubbies when they went to the WS though!!!(and no, I'm not a fan of either team, although I am a former Illinoisan!)

Who cares..I'm rooting for the score, I'm in 4 different pools.

Have to go for the Bears. A local guy, Camerron Worrel, special teams, is from Chowchilla. I like both teams though.

Question is....Will the Bears offense and the Colts defense continue to show up like they surprisingly have in the playoffs? If so, it should be a good close game.
AND, because the SuperBowl is played on "neutral ground", the Officials tend to make the right calls too.
(sorry, but you can't tell me "home field advantage" didn't play a role in getting the Colts into this thing....excuse me Mr.Ref, but THAT WAS pass-interference against the Colts' cornerback in the end-zone last week in Indianapolis, Sir!)
Cheers, Dwight (my prediction....Colts-24 Bears-17)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

The BEARS are NOT like the friggin Cubs ( the ultimate sorry arse losers ). The Bears win, and have won and are the heart and soul of Chicago. The Cubs are a bunch of excuse makin whining losers who cant do it ( although, since they spent a bunch of money, maybe they will finally wash off the embarrasment of a franchise that they are ) , and have been to the show in 61 plus years and havent won it in 98 plus years. The Bears have won the NFL 9 times since the Cubs last championship. They are not similar at all.
Bear Down, Chicago Bears !!!!!

I would vote for the Bears except I don't know any of the players (i.e. Mike Singeltary, Ditka, Refridgerator Perry, Walter Payton) and they are the archrivals of my son's favorite team...the Packers.
However, I WAS raised in Illinois, the Bears have their yearly camp at my alma mater (OlivetNazareneUniversity, Kankakee, IL) and generally I have a positive image of them...
na..I am rooting for the Colts...I like their owner and coach.

Yup, nice ownership with the Colts, so brave they sneak out of Baltimore under cover of darkness, too afraid to do it out in the open and deal with the consequences of it. So nice, that old Colts mike Johnny U was adamant that he was a Baltimore Colt and had nothing to doo with the present Colts and supported the Ravens. Nice when you ****** away the legacy of a once great franchise.
Go Bears.
