I'd think the petrol price is about the same here as in England. Too high... They will probably go up in the summer as they always tend to do. Maybe around 86p? How much SEK you'll need is hard to estimate, really. Think about the same level of costs as back home. The tour around lake Vättern will be around 300 km. Sorry if I couldn't be of more help with this...

I'd say a little less than 20 pounds for that round trip around the lake. But why bring so much cash? We do have ATM machines (or whatever you call them)...

Dave, Will i have to change oil for my 70 kilometer journey to Bankeryd then?! Seriously, the planning is in full progress, hotelrooms have been finally booked for those who are staying at Sjöåkragården and i have talked to the people at the camping about the cabins and we have all 3 booked. We will also have some nice prizes for the winners of our contests. Our friend eddy on the other side of the pond have contributed to the prizes and so have Triumph Sweden. So keep your chrome shiny and your pipes open! Johann

I know this is a bit premature, but do we have a time we should be aiming for and a place we will be meeting at in Bankeryd on 03 August?

Hi all! Some late update for you. 18.00-23.00 friday - sunday the clubroom at the campsite will be open for us to use. They have hamburgers, soft drinks, beer (<2 euro/can) coffe and sandwiches for sale during that time. The breakfast we have to do ourselfs but hey have micro and cookingplates in the servicebuilding where they also have showers. There is a store about 500 meters from the campsite where we can buy what we need for breakfast and also what we want for the barbeque on saturday. /Johann

Cheers for that Johann.. but as I know you need just a few cups of coffee to get you started in the morning, I am bringing my coffee pot with real ground coffee beans to brew up in the morning only trouble is everything packed around it stinks of coffee beans
