Quick travelling story:
Just last year during a 5 day road trip I was straddeling my Triumph while filling up with gas...and sure enough...I wasn't paying attention and the auto-shutoff failed
. Fuel soaked my bike as well as my jeans (front of course). I thought, hey, the gasoline will evaporate once I get on the highway. So, after cleaning the tank, I quickly hit the road and in about 5 minutes...70 mph...I felt a burning, stinging sensation
on my "whateveryouwanttocallit". Next thing I knew I pulled off the first exit, ran into the nearest QuickStop restroom and proceeded to washing my winger in the sink. My Honda VTX riding friend couldn't stop laughing

Anyway, I think I became a bit wiser after the event
