I have 2, 2x8's and it lifts the bike perfectly. Depending on where on the frame you place the stand, you can even get the front wheel off the ground. (just be careful not to lean into the oil filter) Used mine this evening to pull the front wheel off for a new tire, front forks are resting on a milk crate.
