FYI I found that Raask (exhaust maker) also has some kind of "relocating-the-font-pegs-thingie" for those who have difficulty reaching the forward controls. I believe the price is about 1400SEK.

Hello, looks like this kit raises the footpeg ground clearance :-) If that's the case, then this little number could make my Speedmaster be able to lean more in a fast curve :-) Whatchya think?? I've done a little looking already, and can't seem to find one of the retailers that carry this kit, can only find info on them on the raask website.

Thanks for the Reply, Piper, already sent him a message, and have already gotten a reply back, the kit brings the peg 1" up and 4" back. Haven't asked about USD price, and availability yet. Also, I'm 5'10", and it'd be nice to make sure that I don't scrunch myself up like a pretzel with the kit on, as it seems more oriented towards shorter riders than it does to more performance-oriented riding. I'll see.

Well, never mind about asking for the price, the 1400SEK you mention up yonder comes out to $200 USD, based on xe.com currency conversion rates. Not to bad, considering the engineering that had to have gone into that. In a day or two, I'll call the listed U.S. Distributor to see if they have the thing.

How about going the other way? Farther out?

On of the other guys is worried about getting a corbin because it pushes you fwd. A relocation fwd on the pegs would help. I would be interested also.

Gday guys, just new here from Oz but thought i'd share what i did. I'm just on 6' tall and wanted the pegs further forward as i do a lot of highway riding. I used the original pag bar, cut the ends off, turned the bar over and re-welded and chromed the whole unit again. I sat the bar on a jig i made up to ensure i had the end pieces on the correct angle again when i welded them back on. i've got an 02 Bonny America with different bars and risers as well, and this combination works for me. i'll have photos on in the next few days of everything i've done.

How much further away did you get the pegs?

worked out about 3 1/2 - 4 inches further out in the end. Really just the other side of the pipes. It has now been like that for about a year, and i havent had any problems. my first concern was brake fade being so close to the exhaust and maybe getting too hot but its never been an issue.
