Coming from the adventure touring world I am used to over 80 liters of water proof storage that simply clips onto your bike.

I am not being lazy, I have spent numerous hours surfing the web, on this forum, looking at pictures and googling every combinations of Speedmaster, triumph, saddlebags …. Etc I can think of but can not find any kind of luggage that I want to hang or bolt on the speedie.

I purchased the speedie for numerous reasons but to this day one of the major factors was its stock sharp looks. The last thing I want to do is bolt on some kinda saddlebag supports or sissy bar just to add luggage. Am I just being to pickie ?

Any recommendations would be truly welcome

I don't know about picky, but I don't see how you're ever going to find that kind of capacity that just "clips" onto a Speedmaster...

Maybe these might be of interest...

Unless you bolt on something to attach luggage to, there's no real way to do it. Like most cruisers tt's simply not designed to take luggage in it's base form. That's an optional extra for those who want it, otherwise it's a "naked bike" with all that implies.

If you want to maintain it's sharp looks when there's no luggage on it, try easy brackets which have a pair of small discrete pegs on either side of the rear fender. You can also go for K-Drive bags that have a small mounting bracket that the bags can lock onto. Brent at Newspeedmaster sells both.

Triumph also sell their luggage rack without the backrest as a cheaper option.

No. Our bikes do look their best when we, at least, void them of luggage and other sundry accoutrements.
Each bike is tailored to riding habits and as such a compromise must be made between looks and practicality. Getting a hair and throwing a leg over with the intent to be gone for days is fun but rare. Thus the luggage conundrum. The fence that is too low to keep in the cows and too high to keep out the pigs has many of us using the easy brackets.

This pic shows the looks using the ez brackets v the hangers.

Why couldn't you go with easy brackets and some of the hard bags I've seen?

I'd go with the Easy Brackets, Yogi. When you have them off the bike looks relatively stock, w/o ugly brackets. But if you need to take a trip you can attach the bags for carrying stuff. My experience has been on a trip, practical is what counts, but for cruisin you can take the bags off and have a clean cool stock bike.

Try these, http://www.tsukayu.com/products_page.htm which are also available at www.newspeedmaster.com

They appear to fully follow the rear fender contours

Easy Brackets, by all means. You might try the BB Reproductions hard bags, or Saddlemen Jumbo Drifters. Our bikes MIGHT take the Extra Jumbo, I'm not sure.

Then get the short or tall Triumph sissy bar with the rack, and add a gigundo sissy bar bag. You should have plenty of storage at that point.
Good luck!

Some great advise here and plenty of research to be done. Thanks to all.

I found this tail bag that I really like
http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1=2&L2=55&L3=&L4=&item=FTL_CAR022
The picture does not show it that well, but the curve of the bag matches the curve of the seat/fender. I have managed to strap it down so that it does not touch any of the paint or chrome.

Yogi, I use this Saddlmen Santa Fe bag. Even without the roll bag it's very roomy without looking like you're carrying a chest of drawers.
Nice price too.
