I had a flyscreen kicking around the garage that didn't work for me. Bike Bandit wouldn't take it back.
So anyway XHD was looking for one. So I gave the screen to Big Poppy to bring to CT, at the NH get together. Today in the mail is a check for it from XHD. Tell you what most of the time, I would be leery of trusting people who I only know on the net. But I have never had a problem with anyone on this site, nor have I read about anyone else having a problem buying or selling on this site.
Kudos to us.
PS.
you are now obligated to give us a performance review of the flyscreen.

Thats what makes this site so great, and we have only one thing in common throughout the WORLD and that of course is a Triumph America/Speedmaster.

Very nice to be part of

There is something special about this site and the people who own these bikes. A real sense of family.

I never would have imagined that I'd meet a bunch of perverted drunks on a computer & then sleep with some of them.

i am not a guy that belongs to any group or club or order. i have in my life, but for some yrs now, i have thought i would never belong to any ever again. then i found this site and, i feel as if there is something family like here, and good famlies tend to take care of each other. so it never ceases to amaze me when someone is quick to help someone else here, but it still always suprises me and gives me a good feeling about this place. the people that i have met thru this site are some of the best!!! this last wknd again reminded me of that.

ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!

Well said Newt.
I'm a bit of a loner but I can't go a day without checking in on my imaginary friends (thats what the wife calls ya). Before my bike I would never believe I would talk to people on the computer and never would I buy something over the computer. Now I travel hundreds of miles just to socialize with folks I never would have crossed paths with.
I agree, this is a great site with even greater people.

Hey Rod...The wife's been saying for some time now that I DEFINATELY CAN'T make the same claim as YOU here...and lately she's been hinting that I should expect a call from Father Karras any day now!!!

This thread could not be post at a better time.

Two weeks ago I took my handicapped son to the Mid-Winter Ralley in NH. and I was not sure on how he would be received.

Brett, can be a handlful at times and needs constant assurance, that he express's through hugs. Dwight and Rob know what I mean.

Well I have got to tell you everyone and I mean everyone accepted him and let him hug away all weekend long.

Well today in the mail Brett received a box addressed to him this alone made his day, he get's real excited over mail addressed to him and lo and behold inside a brand new Triumph hat. He has not taken it off since this afternoon.

The sender "Fishercat".

This may sound corny but you have no idea what that gift to Brett means to Linda, Brett and Me.

Other than meeting these guys for a couple of hours at the NorEast Rally they do not know me from Adam and they way they accepted us into their lives really show the character of these guys. They would do anything to help you.

Thanks again

John

That's great John! I saw Brett but didn't really meet him that morning at Toymakers. Hopefully he'll make other rides!

Have to say Poppy, Brett was a great kid when I met him during my "Welcome to Connecticut" ride WAY back when in October! And having a son with autism, I know exactly what you mean about handfuls, but wouldn't trade him for anything, as i'm sure you also feel!

As for great people on this site, couldn't be more true. Even after my share of heated arguments on this site, everybody is still great. Heck, when I first joined this site and was brand new, Grump loaned me his Carb Balancer, even though he didn't know me, had only talked to me through this site, etc... Don't think you'd find many other places, where a total stranger will up and mail you a $100+ tool, no security deposit, no nothing, just a "mail it back when you're done" deal. Can't beat that with a stick!

John,
Give Brett an extra hug for me, and tell him I said hello.

Cheers,
Dwight
(and say hi to Linda for me too)
