Well, update is bike is running fine. I got new plugs, decided to try the side gap and put in an appropriate amount of sea foam and off I went...bike ran better than ever. Gotta say I'm convinced on the benefit of side gap plugs now.

All that is required for evil to triumph, is for good men to stand by and do nothing.
