2,000 motorcyclist descended on the state capitol yesterday to push for further changes in the helment law and tougher laws for people who injury motorcyclist, bikers and pedestrians.

Even saw some Bandidos. The problem is there is no law to be instroduced this session to backup the requests. Now, if they tied this to laws making every road in Texas a toll road, the governor and his hencemen would be all over it.

Once again there is talk in CT of putting toll plaza'a on Interstate's 91, 95 , 84 and on state RT 2. One (D) in particular is pushing for it pretty hard. State had a 50 million buget surplus last year, Ya think they'd be coming up with ways to give some money back, instead of squeezen more out.

Wow, just what CT needs. Make an otherwise small and easy to get thru state harder to navigate cause of tolls.

Should be a shot in the arm for all the small businesses on the back roads.Hopefully, these laws will backfire and the crooked politicians will never even recover the cost of installing the tollbooths. State tolls on federal highways is pretty close to having Cletus and Bubba hiding out on the edge of town with a speedlimit sign hidden behind a tree.

i dont understand how it is that we built these roads in the first place??? i mean i can get on I-75 here and drive all the way to the top of Mi. and never stop for nothing more than gas. Now they are talking about adding a couple lanes here and there will be toll booths???? EXCUSE ME???? interstate highways are suppose to be free!!!!! And turnpikes charge??? how did we build roads like 95 and 75 and maintain them all these yrs without chargeing anything more than what we pay in gas taxes and now thay not only want our gas taxes but they want to tax us again to ride on the road???? this is truley a sore subject with me!!!!!!

ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!

All depends on when you go. I made it from the tunnel in hartford to Boston, passing by Fenway in 58 minutes once. Aside from the 95 madness down near NY, it's not bad...

Corzine is trying to do the same thing in New Jersey. Someone needs to slap these folks around a bit........
