Last year Vic released 4 sketches of luxo touring bikes. I fell in love with one of the concept drawings but I can tell you flat out it was not the one they currently have out. The Vision is a love it or hate it bike. Period end of story. I personally hate the thing and I am a Victory die hard. I have owned two 2004 Kingpins (the first I wrecked with 8700 miles on it in 5 months) and the replacement which currently has 29,250 on it and is in my garage being "bagged" for the '08 riding season.
I have ridden the Vision a few times and the thing is outstanding. It is smooth as silk, handles amazingly well for an 800+ pounder, great power, great breaks not to mention the gadgets. Storage is disappointing for as big as it looks. Judge this thing from the saddle and you will be amazed. You can test ride them at almost any Vic dealer. With that said I still cannot get over the looks...
Rumor has it that Victory is getting ready for a mid-February release of a tourer based on the Kingpin platform.
The simple truth is, Victory makes great motorcycles. I will not get rid of Pin.....
I believe the America I have compliments the Pin nicely...
(Cardinal Red is almost as nice as the Pin's Solar Red only difference being the pearl in the Solar Red)
I love the old parallel twins, nothing as cool in my book. I have not had much of a chance to ride it but I am in love with it...
