I saw a couple getting off of one a couple weeks ago in New Orleans - it had Alaska plates and they had just ridden in. That's an iron-butt ride! As I looked at it I can't say it's my style & the rider seemed to agree, but his point was from the saddle there isn't another bike he'd rather tour with. He said they were almost 2 weeks into a 5 week tour.
Maybe fugly=comfort?
