So is it just me, or does the front end of the bike actually look like its swallowing the tire? The turn signals from the front end kind of look like freaky eyes, and I just can't shake the sense that the front end looks like a mouth bearing down on that little tire, ready to snap it up...

Yep Mike, I think you're right! Looking straight onto the front of it, it DOES kind'a look that way. In fact, I'm picturing an Owl which has just swooped down upon a mouse and is mid-chew at this very moment. Good catch!(YOU, not the owl)

Anyway, that being said, I will likely never own a touring bike. Not my style. I'm sure they're comfy as he1l, but I just don't care for them. I am excited that bike designs in general seem to be making some kind of shift overall. Designs have stagnated in mass produced bikes for years. I'm still a retro guy at heart, but it excites me that in the future there may be some bikes that come out which are really cool and really different than whats already out there. This isn't my ball of wax, but maybe it will pave the way towards something that's actually cool... I mean pave the way towards something that I think is cool.

We have another agreement here, dude! While this bike is controversial, it may help open up and free future motorcycle designers to experiment with new ideas(BTW, underneath this bike lies a very innovative frame, as you may know) which may progress M/C design away from what could be considered stuck in somewhat of a rut at this time.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
