I dont know Ray I've never cared for going all out like that with the Flag theme, to me it's like taking a flag cutting it up and making a shirt out of it. Some would call it a patriotic display, others would call it mutilation of a national symbol. I'm not offended by it just wouldnt do it myself.
Now the other exapmle the "Union Jack" on the gas tank. I think is more tasteful, and not over done. It makes the same sort of statment but still shows proper respect for the Flag itself.
