"If music be the food of love, play on;
Give me excess of it, that, surfeiting,
The appetite may sicken, and so die.
That strain again! it had a dying fall:
O, it came o'er my ear like the sweet sound
That breathes upon a bank of violets,
Stealing and giving odour!"

I already have my rain gear packed, cleaned my chaps and packed them also. The only thing I really need to do for the bike is wax the chain before departure.

Since Sat afternoon has no planned activities I might ride up to Cherokee and get myself a new Medicine Wheel for the bike. The one I got 4 years ago while riding in the area is getting a little ragged. If I do that then I will probably go out to the "road to nowhere" just outside of Bryson City, just to confirm it still doesn't go anywhere.

I am a ways off from being ready. Need to re-install breather resevoir, change oil, install pipes, install shield, make sure everything is tight, bolted down, connected, the right slack, etc. Get leather ready, another coat of polish, etc., pack, re-pack, etc.

Still need to determine when I am leaving. Moe and Tom are waiting on me to figure out my schedule. I'll have it nailed down by next Wednesday at the latest.

Your list is a mile long! You sound like I did the last 6 Rallies, but not this time! Days remain the only thing in my way.

Ok I had to google that...perhaps it's the time, perhaps I'm just not firing on all cylinders, but even after googling it it still seems unknown to me...

This one goes to eleven.

My amp's knobs go to 12, thinking of scraping off the 12

Could someone coming from/through KY and TN please pick up a free state map from any of the tourist welcome centers? I'd really appreciate it since I'm working on my route from Dahlonega to Louisville but I don't have anything to reference on the way up. Thanks in advance.

The nine muses (Greek mythology). I knew the names came from mythology but I had trouble remembering who they were.

"Another one bites the dust" And I'm not talking about the Queen song. I am not going to be able to make the Ga. rally because of some family stuff that came up and I had to spend most of the money I had saved for the trip. So there is a non-smoking room with a king bed at the Days Inn that's available for someone that needs it. I just cancelled about an hour ago. Oh well... 372 days until Ga.Rally '08

Assuming I get there Thursday afternoon or evening, is there an obvious meeting point?

Thursday we'll be on this run... Depending on your route down, you could meet us at one of the stops on the map and ride south with us or if it's after 5 or so we'll be at here on the property.
