Phil,

Just rent a u-haul trailer. Or even better just put the Bonneville in the bed of the truck and trailer the America. All you will need is a decent bike ramp. With the tailgate down my America will fit.

If Matt and I fit 2 bikes on the back of his little truck, I think it's definitely possible.

Phil,

I have the same truck as you and my America will fit. Don't worry the tailgate it can take it. Do a normal tie down on the front of the bike and just strap the rear tire so that it cannot move side to side.

If you are worried about the tailgate then you can get a aluminum rail that runs the length of the bed/tailgate, so the bikes wheels can ride in. You will have to secure the aluminum rail to make sure it doesn't slide.

Tom

Where oh where is mert?

Lest this day slip through our fingers the countdown must continue...

Hey Chy!!! Guess you didn't know I had a little boo-boo in a parking lot this fall. Funny thing about it all, it was caused by my going too slow. lol So, being as it is all relative, I'm taking the Legend in a whole other direction. Going a bit toward the cafe style. I think it will look pretty cool.

Hey guys ... I'm invading your forums from over at triumphrat.net since I'll be riding to Dahlonega with my brother Ezcue.

So Yota, if you're too tall and fat to ride a T100 ... then what is your definition of too tall and fat for said ride ???

And yes ... that's what I'll be showing up on ... an '04 T100 slightly "adjusted".

I have a hard time with some of the grammar around here sometimes too, my grandfather went to Harvard and was an educator his whole life. I may suck at spelling but I know my tenses But give Yota some credit! Not bad for a KY boy...

Need some input on this one - I am definitely the newbie on the GA rally so I'm looking for ideas on a good route down from Lexington KY.......preferably on paved roads (that comment was for Yota!) thanks....I think.
