First of all congratulations on your site, it was very helpful research.
My ride 2004 Triumph Bonneville America, wedgewood green with silver accents.
Extras, triumph fly screen and supertrapp slip ons exhaust.
I have been reading your forums and need to learn more about jetting, bike pops a little. Freak Mods? I have some plans in mind.
My younger brother purchased new a 2005 Triumph Daytona 650, nice bike. Lots of compliments.
Have to figure out how to attach pictures.

WElcome to the site, Same year as my ride, I love it, remove the Air Injection to help with the pop, I actually missed it a bit. Does the flyscreen help? I sorta like the looks of them and felt like I might be able to duck down into it a little when 'at speed'. Ride safe and Go Bears!

Welcome to the site, and good choice of ride - same year & colour as mine. Here's a post detailing how to use pics on the site. It lives in the "Tech Vault" which is a store of the most common questions about mod'ing these bikes and pretty much anything else we could think of to add.

Hi! And don't be afraid to ask questions. Most of mine were really stupid when I first joined...... now they're just mostly daft.

Welcome aboard! Removing the air injection will help with the popping. This kit http://www.newspeedmaster.com/html/ai_removal_kit.html will take care of that nicely. Some popping is normal with these (or any high performance) engine. It is possible to eliminate it completely by adjusting the idle mixture extra rich, but that can cost you several MPH of topend speed.

Thank you al. I posted two photos of my bike, side view of the exhaust. Can post close up pictures and perhaps an mp3 format audio file. http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=6045

Here are the parts numbers:
Internal Disc Series - Universal 358-1719 $ 235.00 with the tapered end cap.
I purchased the bike from Rocket motorcycles in San Diego California, it was a consignment sale. The dealer installed the pipes for the previous owner.
Hope this helps.
