What?! Zeus is too busy to attend?

Dwight,

... but traveling to your place would be a great vacation. Any chance of sponsoring a rally at your place?

Skillet,
I would love to be given the opportunity, one day.
If you can get as far as anywhere in the the UK (May thru October) ... I'll do the rest (including flights, accom. and a choice of three bikes ... well maybe 2 as the 3rd is an Italian crotch rocket).

Freedom,
Just to add to the story, here's and older picture of the area, not even half a mile from where I stopped.
You can probably see Tel Aviv in the distance (well ... maybe not ).

There's a wonderful word, apophasis, which means "a rhetorical device that emphasizes a fact, by pretending to ignore or deny it." Like yourself, it is of Greek origin.
So your post was "not Harley bashing"? Shame on you, you apophatic Hellene!

Siggy,
"Apophatic" eh? I think I'll start using that one around here. Do you think it will get by the mods?

I'd be willing to bet that he simply ran out of gas...

Krashdragon,
That could very well be. But, if so, then he is a dummy over and above a poser and a snob, as there were two very visible gas stations not 300 yards further up the road.
Why would he push such a heavy bike (especially on a small incline) instead of taking a walk up and getting a little gas ...
Who knows...

Bedouin. Blessed are those eyes that have seen more roads than any man! (Homer).
