I actually think the America is perfect. I've had two sport bikes and decided to move to a cruiser partly because I'm sick of speeding tickets, partly because I've outgrown the look would rather have comfort, and partly because I don't want to be identified with those jackasses who pop wheelies up and down the interstate.
Anyways, when I started looking last fall I had a lot of trouble deciding between TBA and SM. Like the spoke wheels and bigger engine of SM, hated the seat and black engine. Luckily everything on the TBA I didn't like got changed for '07!
I am still torn back and forth on the second brake rotor up front on the speedmaster. I'm not sure how much of a difference one notices, or if its worth the cash to add it to my TBA...
