Well I kind of liked the way you previously had a choice. If spokes were your thing then the American was for you, or if alloys are your preference then more than likely the Speedy was for you. Now there seems to be no choice...

I still like the look of the new America (especially the new blue/cream paint scheme), but the plans to build a sweet custom bobber out of one, would now need to be applied to an '06 or earlier bike rather than brand new, which is a shame. Not the end of the world, just a shame.
