baffles in Sceptres??? Isn't that like a shower with a raincoat?
I agree that it's sacrilegious to baffle the Scepter exhaust. I tried to find someone locally to swap exhaust with, but had no takers - I had an offer from out of state, but I really wanted to be able to hear them first before committing. In the end, the baffles were the cheapest way to get a quieter exhaust, even if it is a little taboo.
Having said that, I've put about 100 miles on them now, and I think they've "loosened" up a little and it's a little louder than when I first put them in. I really like the sound now and have no regrets.
