I went out yesterday for about 45 minutes, first time being able to ride since I put the baffles in, first time riding since two days before the first blizzard hit. (Although, I came really close to riding to work last Friday...)
Rode with full-face helmet, but without ear-plugs and found the ride to be pleasant. No sharp pains inside my ear while riding at speed, thank god for that. However, I do think that the 1" baffles might be too quiet, and if I did it again, I would get the 1.5".
Also, did I detect a slight loss of power with the baffles? Or just the cold weather & gas that is starting to get a little old (I've tried to let it idle for 10-15 minutes every weekend)? Guess I'll reserve judgment on that until I start riding regularly again.
BTW, saw two others on bikes later in the day when I was coming home from my Costco bankruptcy trip.
