I really like mine and got to use them on Sat in Richmond. It got close to 50 and was a big improvement vs my trip to Pittsburgh where it was single digits. I see where you wanted to take the slop out of the Floorboards. I think you may regret it if you lean too much in a tight turn. They are made to give and not vibrate with the nylon washers provided. If they don't kick up, the rear of the bike can kick out and dump you. Am I following what you are taking the slop out of?
