yes, i received two "left" boards as did at least one other person on the site. this was through coweta custom cycles. becky at coweta was very helpful (and quick) in getting it rectified. the boards are identical but should be opposites. when you hold the flat sides together and look underneath the brackets should line up exactly. btw, if you mount the boards 'backwards' you get a little more leg room.
