I am installing the Triumph factory Footboards for my '06 BA. I got them first in early December on-line and when I received them and went to install them, something looked weird, the rightside plate looked exactly like the leftside plate, didn't think anything of it but when the rightside went on, it seemed to be 'up front' too far and my brakearm hit the inside of the plate. I sent them back and just received a new pair (in the original Triumph factory box) and recieved the same thing this time. The parts list on the side of the box lists the part numbers as left (A9730506) and right (A9730505) but the D#$%^M plates look the same to me!

The instructions state that the mounting brackets are forward of center, which makes sense to me, but seemingly having two 'leftside' footboards, when I have the rightside on, it is 'back of center', pushing the board up.

Anybody run across this? I'm about to break out the grinder!
