I am not sure what I am going to do with my weekends now. With the Chargers losing today (The Pats didn't beat them, the Chargers lost) and it's still way too cold to ride, I am not sure what to do.

Try knitting....
a nice blue and white scarf for the Chargers for next year! <LOL>
Yeah... sucks... especially the weather...
But at least they're showing the Hula Bowl... I miss Hawaii
especially the weather...
and my friends...
and the food....
and the riding... even tho it's NASCAR.... round and round and round....<G>

What's even worse... what are we going to do on Monday nights until baseball season gets here?

You could break out the cage and go cruisin' for chicks in Porkland, home of the other white meat.

I'm a big Pats fan and I agree with you. However, I've seen it time after time where teams make stupid mistakes and the Pats just capitalize on them. The Pats don't have as much raw talent but they have smart players that are disciplined. I think that's why they do so well in the playoffs. Better luck next year.

I am a Cheifs fan here in KC, the Chargers didn't beat them selves, the refs beat them. The personal foul call for the socalled head butt, the refs didn't see the Eagle flip the Charger d-back by his facemask, it was more blantant than the call. The failure to call the head to head contact on the Charger QB by the Eagles. The Eagles 2 pt conversion was classic, but the killer was the intercept & fumble by the Chargers on the 4th down conversion. Even middle school players are trained to knock the ball down on 4th downs unless you have a free unhindered shot at the end zone which almost never happens. Poor Shotenhimer, most KC fans were pulling for our ex-coach & our division, but I guess his post season jinx is still alive.

We're having winter here this week so I don't mind being off the bike a couple of days.

A great time NOT to be on the road. People south of Amarillio don't know how to drive in this kind of weather. I love watching some guy who paid $55,000 for a '4 wheel drive' SUV and can't figure out why he can't get traction on ice.

I'm cheering for the Saints until Jerry Jones drys up and blows away. 13 years and no playoffs for the 'Boys.

My dear boy. Tune into the Fox Soccer Channel. Hours and Hours of pure delight. Played by men who dont have sit down and take a rest every 15 seconds. 90 minutes of end to end pleasure with a 15 minute break in the middle. Just enough time to make a cuppa tea.

Look out for Arsenal. There the best...not that im bias or anything.

AND

In less than 6 weeks. Turn on the SPEED channel, The Formula 1 season starts again. Oh wow, aint life great.

Have you not figured it out yet, You can not let Bradey hang around until the fourth quarter and expect to win the game.

LT ran around all day like he was out there by himself, yet you gave him the ball eight times in the entire second half, so do not blame the officals or or red flags or fumbles for your loss.

Thats why they call in Marty Ball.

Two months or LESS for:
Moto GP starts (3/10)
Formula 1 begins! (3/18)
I use the down time to catch up on movies I missed. Long, meaning full walks with the missus, etc.

But that is still two months away! Baseball doesn't really start for three and NBA ball is boring until March.

Soren being a Browns fan during the 80s I got to see Marty ball when it began. Great teams that always came up a little Short. We, in most cases had the better team, Marty is a tease, great team during the regular season, but just cant keep it together for the playoffs, or more so before the half(Pats drive for a touchdown to end the half when they coulnt get a first down the rest of the half)or at the end of the game(Pats drive for winning field goal)
For the Browns we had the "Drive" Elway drives 98 yards for a touchdown, and the "Fumble" BYNER FUMBLES GOING IN FOR A TOUCHDOWN. These plays killed me I truly could not talk for a week after these games. Marty time after time has done the same thing. Great team during the season just get beat in the playoffs. He truly is the biggest tease since Sandra Dee!!!!!

The "cool" season of the year is a great time to purchase a bike out of the paper ,cheap, and play around with it in your living room or in the garage..... ..displacement does not matter, once it warms up you can get your money back plus a couple bucks, usually.
