I use it on non-critical bolts, especially where they screw into aluminum. Like the side covers. I also use it on the exhaust studs.
On the brake pins and backs of the pads I use hi-temp brake grease.
In both cases, a little goes a long way. Sparingly is a good thing.
Never use loctite on steel bolts going into aluminum threads.... bad move.
