I connected my front carb vacuum ports (side closets to engine) with a clear tubing. It hasn't taken very long to discolor this tubing either. Yuk I need to get a black one. Anyways, with the clear tubing you can see vapor/fuel moving around. I guess this should be expected huh?

I can understand you seeing vapor in there but fuel?
I don't know......I'd expect to see fuel only on the manifold side of the carbs.
Better minds might have other opinions on this.
Oh wait.....this is the manifold side of the carbs!!!! Doh!

It borders a liquid/gas. Almost like a small condensation brewing just above the nipple. (i can hear the porn references already)

Yep, that's what it's supposed to do. Make sure you use proper fuel line, or the fuel will perish the tubing in no time.

Look at that, no porn references.

After further review... I have the vacuum ports closest to the carbs connected. Is there a difference?

There isn't a difference that I've noticed - I've tried both. Why not put your clear line on the front ports and see if there is a difference in what you see?
