I have ridden both by America and a Scrambler and I can tell you their powerbands feel almost identicle. The Scrambler feels a little bit smoother and makes a little more power up high than down low but we're not talking that much. The biggest difference was probably the weight, but the overall feeling of power going down the road was that they were the same.
