For some reason I don't read that.... That's why I won't know...
But thanks for letting me/us know. It's already written in my diary.

Pencil me in for The Ace and The Farmyard if I'm still allowed

(I've not been on here much recently, and I notice that Ade's not been posting after what looks like a bit of a bust-up on a couple of threads - has something happened? Could someone PM me if it's not suitable for public posting? Cheers)

Rumour has it that the Celtic Warriors have broken up and there is no birthday bash this year - only a rumour at the moment

i think the rumours are true... Nobby did you go to the kill-spills demo last year because there is somebody who looks incredibly like you on page 30 of 100% biker this month...
Also im thinking of doing the Look up Rally in Norfolk as the first one of the year on 25th - 27th May....

Just to throw another thought in, what weekends are BA.COM doing this year. hehe.
Warwickshire Wobble seemed to go down well last year.
Also a Pub at Hunningham (Rose and Thistle) has offered to put us up, as long as you don't mind crashing on the floor!!! hehe.
Would be nice to get another run oop north
and of course there was the aborted darwn sarf run. hehe

Must also pencil in a run to Gt Langdale, as the last one got postponed and ended up a run to Hawes

We could even make it a camping weekend

Just to add more complications....my local TOMCC rally has moved from Sept and is now the weekend after Farmyard.... but it's not advertised yet. That's why I knew I was off the week starting with the Farmyard... the joys of be on the organising committee....

Bugger, my secret is out!! Unfortunately that is me (I wish I had been wearing the full face that day) - it took me three reads to get past the rather fetching lady in the piccy above!!

Looking at the piccy of me, perhaps they should rename the mag 150% biker!!

We'll definitely be at the Farmyard this year but will probably not be arriving till Friday evening sometime, so save us a pitch
As for other meets, the more notice the better so can try and organise days off or 'sick leave' Unfortunately Corporate Bullsh%te has now decided that any holidays must be applied for at least 3 month in advance, but preferably for the whole year! I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that there's a lot to be said for being self employed....

At the moment Dave, it's looking unlikely. Really want to go but after weighing the options up and various other comittments I think it probably won't happen. There's still time to sort stuff out however so we'll see.

Hopefully Ray, Driffield looks a good event. Decided my mission this year is to try and get out more. Working Saturdays does tend to screw things up for the weekend events but with a bit of forward planning I should be able to make some.

Paul- end of March would be great if everyone else can!- I just completed a trip to see a customer yesterday from York to Bristol and back again in one day. The weather was terrible- blowing a gale and really wet- as you probabbly know!...after that I can do anyting

Grzegorz- I have now got the camera mastered- still working on my riding though!- so might mount a camera upside down to cover all eventualities.

On the camera point- is anyone after a bullet camera & videocamcorder with everything included to make movies from bike > bedroom!- I am surplus a set- full spec if you need it.( open to UK riders only as it is a PAL version, not suitable for USA...not sure about the rest of Europe, but do think its OK(I will confirm though)

Regards

Rod

Hi Mike

Hopefully will be able to meet up at this one, enjoyed last year. A little quiet but I should imagine it will get busier as time goes on...

Maybe we could tempt some more members from here

Ray, If you manage to come to the campsite on the showground on the Sat nite it certainly isn't "QUIET" then I think you only made the Sunday last year?
If you do get to do the sat as well let me know and we should have a run around the local haunts.
Brainstorm here why not meet (on your way across) at Squires, Sherburn BIG biker haunt and go scenic route to Driff, via York Scarborough, squires
Worth thinkin about?
Dafydd might just be able to swing a Saturday off..... maybe.
Mike

Hey Mike

I was there Friday night and Saturday night last year and took most of the photos for the organiser. Both nights were pretty quiet, but a good night had by all. The Bands were good as well, Mal and I mosied down into the centre Sunday morning and parked in Kwik Save Car Park, but we just got a brew and then set off home. There was 3 Americas there last year one was a new one and something to do with the organisers... You can always bell me a little closer to the time 01253 870979
