have spliting riveting tool but no manual any help??

If you already have the new sideplate pressed on, the riveting tool (looks like a metal hemisphere sticking out of a flange surface) should screw directly into the bolt that turns through the tool body. Try to "rivet" the masterlink pin ends, so that they look like the inside of a hemispherical bowl, without splitting the metal. Does this help?

I don't know exactly what you mean by "fixed unit" (and I may not want to know) but you have to grind the pins down with something (dremel, 4" grinder, very large supply of emery paper) before you can use the chain breaker to push the pins out. Otherwise there's a good chance you'll break the drive pin in the breaker.
