Underneath the fuel tank is an unused connector - L-shaped on the end. There are two wires going to it - one black and one purple. Only about an inch of the wires was exposed on mine; the remainder was wrapped in electrical tape, but you can cut or remove some of the tape to expose more of the wires. There's not much slack, but it results in a nice, tight fit.
