Knowing that quite a few of us have had front disc warping issues, mainly with the America/ spoked rims, I've noticed that the new 2007 865cc America range, like the Speedmaster, now comes with alloy rims.
Still single disc, but presumably a more rigid rim will better house the disc and make it less susceptible to warpage? I don't know, I'm no engineer but am guessing this might be Triumph's answer to the problem?
Some of us have done mods to improve bike's performance, possibly this has caused too much strain front braking with the original setup hence Triumph's decision to fit a cast rim on their 865cc range?
As I say I don't really know but I'm still having issues with my front disc and am thinking maybe this is the way forward. Any thoughts?
