They are STAINLESS STEEL, not chrome. SS is more expensive. You can polich it out, and it is a hell of a lot better than the rust one gets with chrome. The gold tint I have is VERY faint, and the pipes are VERY shiny. As for their sound, they are incredible. Call Team Triumph and talk with Todd, he makes them.
