This is great. I wonder how many Triumphs were sold world wide? According to a friend of mine, Harley sold close to half a million world wide. Do you think we will ever have numbers close to them?

i was just told this morning by my local dealer that Triumph is hot on the heels of B.M.W. in sales and is looking to pass them by this yr. he is a dealer of both so i must take him at his word. he also said that the R3 sales have slumped badley and that next yr there will be a loaded up version bags and all to compete with other loaded bikes (he did use the h.d. word) so he said he has 07 Americas on the floor and that they sure are purdy!!! i gotta stop by there hahahahahahaha but thats impressive, that Triumph is selling almost as many units as B.M.W. can you say AWSOME!!!!!

I'm glad triumph is doing well, But still want my America to remain reitivly rare.
My former dealer aslo mentioned that R3 sales took a nose dive last year. He mentioned that Triumph was going to drop the price on em. By about a grand in 07.

I remember when you either had a HD or a Trumpet that was THE Big ones and we know which one Always kicked A$$!!

I wonder is that sales to dealers or to consumers.?. How many 06's are still on the dealer floors?

Cruisers must be like 4 door sedans-we don't get any respect but we out sell avery other portion of the market world wide(Motorcycle Magazine)

The operating profit, before interest and tax, stayed almost constant at GBP 10.3 million (USD 19.1m) due to significant investment in new production capacity.
