Please reconsider. Otherwise it'll be Martyn, the Swedes and Nick.

Gina,

I am not sure where that came from.

Over and above Martyn, Piper, Gooseman and Nick, you seem to have omitted the following from your list:

Hedgehog
Andy
Steve
Adey
Hotdog from Germany PLUS his whole family.
Grzegorz (crossing to Sweden from near Gdansk in Poland)
Pawel and wife Beata (crossing to Sweden from near Gdansk in Poland)
A new member from Poland.
Stewe and wife from the very north of Sweden.
Celt from Canada
Litzerski from the USA

Myself and partner (riding up through the Balkans and Eastern Europe to eventually meet up with Grzegorz, Pawel and co. and cross over from near Gdansk).

That's already over 20 "confirmed" people to date (not including, of course, others who are still considering it).

Also, from across the pond, the possibility of:

Mlessard
Airguy
Wojo
BonnyUsa

As there is no obvious case of "force majeur" and a lot of people (including some who are coming from a heck of a long way away) have been planning Sweden (and in some cases cities within Sweden) I would consider the change of country disruptive, at best.

Also, on this thread, there was mention of "decisions" of venue (decisions by whom and on behalf of whom???) to be taken following a meet at the Ace Cafe in London. I am unsure I understand what that was all about.

I would therefore ask that you reconsider and see if you could "squeeze" in the 16 hours required for the longer and much cheaper way round (along with Hedgehog and Andy who have also reconfirmed on this thread).

I did the math and its only approx. 200 miles (shall we say 3 hours?) more than say, Innsbruck in Austria which you were quite willing to do.

Guys and Gals, for issues pertaining directly to the Swedish Rally, can we please use the correct thread and not the "ferry cost ex UK" thread.
I only stumbled on this thread earlier today by accident (I have no reason to be interested in ferry costs ex UK).
