I have just spoken to DFDS re the ferry crossing from Harwich to Denmark... the best deal we can get is £297 per person!! & we have to book it pretty soon & pay in full I checked on line for myself, Jackie & Megan on 2 bikes & it came to a total of £570!!! (I don't want to buy the bloody boat, I only want to be a passenger )
That is too rich for me for a weekend & that is before fuel, beer & camping money
The cheaper option is Dover to Dunkirk again & then a long 2 day ride there & a 2 day ride back but that then makes it a lot longer break.
What do you all think???
Well all I can say is, that the Mrs will have to stay at home looking at those prices.
